The USA certainly needs law reforms — just don’t expect reasonable ones any time soon
Something remarkable about well-developed countries is the middle-class people. Without a good size population of middle-class citizens, a country is rarely well-developed or considered a good place to live. For a while, such a country used to be the USA. However, dirty politics chipped away at the middle class and the USA is not the place many would consider ideal, especially for small businesses and middle-class people. The astonishing number of homeless, and the destruction of some of its most beautiful cities such as San Francisco and others are vivid stories that the USA is in alarming decline. The politicians resort to division, race-baiting, and various other nonsense, often blowing things out of proportion or simply creating false narratives and flat-out lies to get the public eye off their corruption and ineptitude. One of the most common false narratives is policing in the USA. The politicians supported by the mainstream news constantly push the narrative that police officers discriminate against people of color (Blacks, Hispanics, and others). In reality, it is highly likely the other way around. Interestingly, although Asians are considered a minority they never seem to make the list of politicians’ concerns in spite of hate crimes and brutal attacks against them recently.
